GOVERNING BODY

The Hon’ble Minister of School Education Department, Maharashtra State is the Ex-officio President of the Governing Body. The Hon’ble State Minister of Education is the Ex-officio Vice-president. Functions of the Governing Body are to supervise and review the working of the Institute, to decide on policy matters, to approve the Annual Report of the Institute and sanction the Budget

The Secretary, School Education Department, Govt. of Maharashtra is the Chairperson of the Executive Committee. The committee holds all the powers regarding administration of the Institute and it works according to the general guidelines of the Governing Body.

This Committee is responsible for planning and scheduling of programme production, research and evaluation. The composition of this committee established under the Chairmanship of the Director of the Institute.

The Committee is expected to make recommendations to the Executive Committee regarding administrative and financial matters of the Institute. The Director of the Institute is the Chairman of this Committee.
